Draw Ends November 7th.

Coast Community Productions Presents:
“1959 Pink Thunderbird Convertible”
Comprised of two one act plays: “Laundry and Bourbon” and “Lone Star”
It’s Maynard, Texas, about 1973, the women in the first act – the men in the second act, each from three different marriages. are hanging out, gossipin’, confidin’, commiseratin’ and just plain sittin’ around with each other – the girls for most of the afternoon and the boys for most of the night.
Maynard is a dead-end town on the edge of a desert, “the kinda place there’s allus somethin’ happenin’, ‘cept nothin’ seems to change much.” Though what changes is the depth of insight and understanding that these – often very funny, often very desperate, always overly-familiar – people learn about one another and share with their audience.
