SECHELT September 29, 2012.
Sechelt Farmers and Artisan Market vendors celebrate the end of another successful season at their new location on upper Cowrie Street next to the library.
Joy Thomson, the market’s Secretary said they really wanted to thank the District of Sechelt for the new location. “It’s worked out terrific! Everyone loves it. Great for vendors and the public.”
Located on Cowrie Street the market is smack dab in the centre of some of the biggest local annual events, including the Coaster’s Car Club “Show and Shine,” plus the “Festival of Written Arts.”

From Spring to Fall, the weekly Saturday Farmers and Artisan Market is the largest outdoor summer market on the Sunshine Coast BC Canada.
Next year they will be celebrating their 20th Anniversary which will kick off Saturday, April 6th, 2013.
Now’s the time to contact the market if you would like to be a vendor.
It’s a great place to shop local and bring your out of town guests to visit.
You’ll find garden-fresh produce, unique art objects, First Nations art items, jewelry, fresh seafood, clothing, photography, stained glass, pottery, baked goods, plants, toys, herbals, self-published authors, knitting, crochet goods, sewing, leather goods, carving, toys and handcrafted soap are only some of the things you can find when you browse the Sechelt Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market.
It’s Always a Good Day on the Sunshine Coast! Duane Burnett
